There are many ways to approach a legal technology project, and
Elijah Technologies has the experience to recommend the best approach
to address your particular needs. A simplified example of our methodology
on a typical computer forensics project is as follows:
1. Discuss project parameters with client.
2. Sign contract defining scope of project.
3. Travel on-site or bring media to forensic lab for imaging.
4. Take inventory of computer and media to be imaged.
5. Create forensic mirror image of drive, or otherwise acquire
data while documenting chain of custody.
6. Create back-up of acquired media and store original in biometric
safe.
7. Perform searches and discuss findings with client.
8. Prepare a report of and testify regarding findings, upon request.
9. Create a fully searchable database for client review, with deduplication
and keyword filtering if desired, upon request.
